Molly's First Trip to the Movies

I took Layton and Molly to see the Penguins of Madagascar at the movies here in town Sunday afternoon.  It was fun that it happened to be a 3-D movie so we had to wear the little glasses.  This was the first time I have ever taken Molly and she did pretty good.  Once the candy and popcorn were gone and the movie was about half way over she was asking if we could go home :)  We managed to make it through the whole movie and thankfully we were the only ones in the theater that day which worked out great because Molly liked to talk really loudly during the whole movie.  It was a fun little outing with my older two.

Pleasanton Christmas Party

We had so much fun this last weekend at the Pleasanton Christmas party.  It was nice that a lot of our friends went this year.  We met up with Dave, Erin, Clinton and Juli before the party and had dinner at the Country Club in Floresville.  It was nice to get dressed up and have a kid free night with uninterrupted adult conversations.  Clifton and I even got to dance a few songs at the party.  We were able to catch up with lots of friends and family too.  We are so thankful for these sweet friends!

December Iphone Dump

Love this!  My boys walking to the car from church.

Pinterest may be the death of me lol.  Saw this cute idea for a door decoration for Layton's class at school and thought that doesn't look very hard and is so cute well 5 hours later and a couple hundred Styrofoam cups we had a snowman.  Thanks to Clifton and all his help otherwise this would not have happened.
The finished product!  His teacher and the kids all loved it!!!
Love me a clean baby right out of the bath tub.
A few burp cloths I made for a friend having a sweet baby boy soon.

Parker fell down the rock steps in our backyard last weekend and this is the picture Clifton sends me while I'm away at a baby shower.  Poor baby has had two black eyes this last week but the swelling has finally gone down.  So glad nothing worse happened.
My new vintage Christmas wreath I bought at the Vintage in Verdi sale last weekend.
Sweet boy with his big old goose egg.
The weather has been amazing so we got outside last week and went for a run.
 and played outside a lot

I was helping Molly in the bathroom and came back to the kitchen to find Parker sound asleep like this.
Poor Molly is not a fan of Santa this year and she was trying so hard to be brave in this pic.  Look at her sweet face.  This was cookies with Santa at Layton's school last week.
Layton has seen Santa multiple times this year and is still requesting an army ship????  I think I found a battleship that he will like.  This was taken at his Awana's Christmas party last week.

Making 5 dozen cookies for the cookie exchange
Tacky Sweater and Cookie Exchange Party at Melissa's house.  So much fun!
We had a fun date night with Clinton and Juli last Wednesday night.  We had dinner at Rosario's and went to the Spurs game.

I was trying to teach Molly to drive Layton's truck one day and all I can say is scary ha.
I got my new Erin Condren life planner in this week and I LOVE IT!!  Couldn't survive without this thing.
Hope you are all enjoying this wonderful time of year!!!

Late Night Coloring Session

The kids decided to color one night before bed and I grabbed my nice camera and attempted to get a few pics of the kids playing nicely together.  The red light in the background is the dog's heat lamp on our back porch.  Most of them the kids are moving and the lighting isn't the greatest but this is real life :)

 I love this one!

Truth in The Tinsel

I decided to incorporate something new this year to help teach the kids the real reason we celebrate Christmas.  I found it on Pinterest and it is an ebook you can purchase and download at http://truthinthetinsel.com/.  Every day it has a passage of scripture to read to your kids with a few questions and discussion points and an ornament to make that represents something in the passage.  It has been such a blessing to bring the focus back to Jesus' birth. The kids have been getting excited every evening about making another ornament.  Here are a few we have made so far.
