Fun Day at the Zoo

After BSF last week Deborah and I took Parker and Molly to the zoo.  I haven't been in awhile and the weather was perfect.  We had a great picnic lunch, saw some animals and then Parker pretty much melted down after the carousel ride so we headed to ride the train before heading home.  I can't wait to go back because we didn't get to make it to all the different areas and the zoo has improved so much since last time we were there.

Healthy Woman Gala

Last Thursday I went to the Healthy Woman Gala here in town with a bunch of friends.  We had so much fun and the speaker Abby Rike was amazing.  The theme this year was Belle of the Ball so everyone got really dressed up which was super fun and we played casino games for door prizes, ate drank and took photobooth pics.  Such a fun night I think at one point we were all crying listening to Abby speak.  If you aren't familiar with her story she was on the Biggest Loser and lost her husband and two kids in a bad car accident.  I ended up buying her book and already read it and it was AMAZING!!!  I finished it in 2 days which for me is a big deal because I don't have much free time to read these days.  I highly recommend it but I'll warn you once you start it you won't want to put it down.  I left the Gala feeling refreshed as a mom and it just really put things in my life in perspective.

April Pics

I love that Parker sleeps like this #staylittle
I found about 50 pics of Molly's feet and a few selfies she had fun with my phone one day in car pick up line lol
Headed for a run down the road with Mommy
Layton was so proud of the motor home he built out of legos all by himself.

Swinging at the park while Layton practices tball.

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it.  Love me some Mollybug!
Running again with my two running buddies

 Mason's 6th birthday party

 A few backyard selfies

Sitting in the driveway watching my babies sleep.  Sometimes I decide to hang out and just read in the car instead of trying to move them to their beds and risk crankiness and them waking up. #lifeofamom
This boy loves to swing all day everyday so we swing a lot.

We got so much rain in April.  This is our creek in our back yard.

 More swinging

Parker loves shoes and he will try on anything laying around.  Today it was Molly's dress up shoes.
A little picnic outside one night for dinner while Daddy was at BSF.

Cameron and Colby came over to play one day last week with us.
Layton had lunch with Kinley and her mom at school one day.
I got to meet up with Jackie and get a pedi do a little shopping and catch up.  #wentbytoofast #readytodoitagain
