July 4th Vacation at Lake LBJ

 We went to Lake LBJ for the long July 4th holiday with Daniel, Lauren and all the kids.  We rented a nice lakehouse with a pool right on the lake and it was so much fun!!!  We had plenty of time to relax, swim, nap, wakeboard, tube, visit and just enjoy each other.  It was one of my favorite vacations all summer.

 We had the best water balloon fight two afternoons.  The kids loved that we played with them and we laughed so hard we cried.  So many great memories made on this trip.

 In Kingsland where the lakehouse was they had the cutest little 4th of July parade one morning.  The kids got a ton of candy and loved it!!!

 Swimming and popsicles doesn't get any better than that.

 We even got to spend some time with our sweet friends David and Brooke and their little one Easton.  They were staying with his parents on the lake not far from us at all.

 The sunsets were amazing every single night.

 We saw so many great fireworks shows every night.  The biggest one we watched from our dock on the night of the 4th. 

June Wrap Up

 Layton had an accident on his bike this summer he fell into one of the rock columns on our back porch.  Needless to say he is wearing his bike helmet now when he is riding his bike.  We are thankful it wasn't worse than this.

 We went to the Doseum one day this summer and had a picnic at Brackenridge park afterwards.  It was a lot of fun!

 And this is what Molly does in the car if we drive anywhere in the afternoon.  She loves to nap!

 We had a fun girls dinner one night in San Antonio with some of my sweet friends.

 We swam a lot this summer and this day we went to the country club here in town.
