Layton's room is finished!

Last weekend I finally finished organizing and putting everything away in Layton's room so here are a few pictures of his room. Lauren came over Sunday afternoon and helped me put the swing together and I washed a bunch of his little clothes. The bags are packed now so I think we are ready. Now we just need him to be here and then it will feel complete.

Work Baby Shower

I had my work baby shower this Wednesday and it was very nice. We got a lot of our bigger items like the video monitor and exersaucer and tons of gift cards. I spent the afternoon after my shower at Babiesrus and Target exchanging and buying the rest of the stuff we need for Mr. Layton. I think we are all set now. I have a lot to organize and put away in his room but it has been fun. My mom came over Wednesday night and helped me hang the letters in his room. Once I get everything organized and put away I'll take some pictures of the finished nursery. Tomorrow Clifton and I have our labor and delivery class all day at the hospital so that should be interesting. I'm looking forward to getting a tour of the labor and delivery area in the hospital. I can't believe we only have about 5 1/2 weeks left until he will be here time is flying by.

Baby Shower at Church

I had a baby shower at the church this weekend. My close friends and family hosted it for me. It was so nice and we got so much stuff for Layton we are just about ready for his arrival. Thanks to everyone that made it so special for me! Here are a bunch of pictures from the shower.

Last weekend Clifton and I went to Rockport as our last little trip with just the two of us for a long time. I won't be able to travel these last few weeks until little Layton arrives. It was a nice relaxing weekend and we had a great time. My parents were so generous they let us stay in their RV trailor down there which was awesome. Saturday morning we went to the beach in Rockport for a few hours and then headed to Corpus to the international boat show which was so much fun. We saw some really fancy boats. We had lots of great seafood while we were down there too. Here are some pictures from our trip.
