Fun Night With Family

A few weekends ago we got together at Grammy D's house because cousin Matt was in town from Michigan.  We hadn't seen him since everyone started having kids so he got to meet all 5 of the little cousins.  We enjoyed a yummy meal of chili and beans thanks to Grammy D and had fun watching the kids entertain us.  Layton is a little obsessed with the song "What Does the Fox Say?" so we have some funny pictures of the kids dancing and getting down to his favorite song this month :)

Happy 7 Months Parker

Parker turned 7 months old on Feb. 9th.  This month has been so much fun because he is really interacting with us now and is full of smiles and laughter.  He has learned to clap or play patty cake and is saying Dada now all the time.  He is also saying Nanananana :)  He is sleeping much better now if he wakes up it is only one time during the night and wakes up in the morning happy talking in his bed.  He can sit up so well now and will sit and reach as far as he can to grab toys.  He isn't moving yet which is nice I'm enjoying the stage we are in.  He is loving baby food and eats all kinds of stuff now.  Now that we are getting closer and closer to him turning 1 it makes my Mommy heart hurt just a little.  You are just growing up way too fast for Mommy.  Can you please stay a baby forever?  Love you to the moon and back sweet boy!!!!

Update on Everyone :)

I can't seem to keep up with this blog lately.  Life has been busy and the days seem long at times but it is so good.  I am enjoying my time at home with my little ones so much.  Layton is growing into a sweet little boy and is so easy to take places and do stuff with.  More than anything he just wants my attention and a playmate that can play on his level.  He enjoys singing and music and it is on nonstop at our house.  He still loves to build things and enjoys being outside.  We just signed him up for t-ball this spring so that should be fun for him.  Molly loves to play with Layton and will follow him around.  She has such a sweet nurturing spirit and loves to play with her babies all day everyday.  She loves her brothers so much and is always concerned if one of them is hurt or crying she will let me know immediately.  She is talking so much now and repeats everything.  She is such a sweet helper and wants to help me in anyway she can.  She really wants to wear panties and asks me every morning so we will be starting the potty training process soon just to see what happens.  Parker is so much fun right now he smiles and laughs constantly.  He has learned to clap and say Dada and is at such a cute age.  I wish I could hit pause he is changing so much everyday.  Clifton has been so busy at work which is a blessing.  We are both enjoying Bible Study Fellowship this year studying Matthew.  We are having a Women's conference at our church next weekend and I'm on the leadership team so I'm looking forward to that.  That is just a quick update on what is going with all of us.  I will leave you with some random pics from my phone. 

Kids Pictures

We had professional pictures taken last week by Sada Lewis in San Antonio at the Walker Ranch Park and I'm so happy with how they turned out.  I was a little nervous with trying to get all 3 kids to cooperate but she was so good with them and we were finished in about 40 minutes.  I wanted to get some of Parker at 6 months and Molly at 2 and decided I should get some of all of them if I'm paying a professional.  I can't wait to print some of these and hang them.

A Sick Week at Home

Parker and Molly have had a bad cold all week so we have stayed home.  Lots of resting, wiping noses and playtime inside.  I ended taking Parker back to the doctor this morning after he ran fever again last night and he now has a double ear infection so I'm thankful he is finally on some antibiotics and will hopefully be feeling better and sleeping better soon. 

 The weather really warmed up by the end of the week so we enjoyed some play time outside.  Parker got to swing for the first time in the baby swing and he loved it!
