Our Elf Bonnie is Back
I had a special little breakfast planned for the kids when our Elf Bonnie came back this year. She left Christmas pajamas for each of the kids, a fun letter from Santa and some birdhouses for Layton and Molly to paint. The kids were so surprised and we had a fun little Sunday morning before heading to church.
I found this neat letter on Pinterest that is from Santa but explains the TRUE meaning of Christmas.
I think Parker was still asleep but I caught the kids just sitting together by the tree and yes that would be Layton's big Ninja Turtle between them lol.

Thanksgiving in Aggieland
We had a fabulous time tailgating with my family in College Station at the Texas A&M vs. LSU game on Thanksgiving day. We had some amazing food and wonderful conversation along with chasing the kids and doing head counts all day lol. Thanks for letting us stay with y'all Daniel and Lauren we had lots of fun!!!
Decorating the Tree
We decorated our house for Christmas the day before Thanksgiving since we were going to College Station for Thanksgiving I really wanted to come home to a house that was all decorated and clean :) It took a little convincing Clifton to help me get everything down but I'm glad he agreed and helped me. The kids were more into decorating the tree this year and Layton was especially helpful with the ornaments. Can't wait until all 3 can help me with the tree. I love how cozy the Christmas tree and mantle make our house feel.

Playtime With the Littles
Molly and Parker play together so well for the most part while Layton is at school. I'm so thankful they have each other. Here are a few pics of them playing one day last week in Molly's room. I want to remember our simple days at home :)

Pictures with Santa
Our pictures with Santa did not go as planned. Molly talked about it all day and how she was going to talk to him and tell him what she wanted. As soon as she saw him she started kicking and screaming "I don't want to!" over and over. I couldn't even force her to get near him lol. After begging and pleading she agreed to let me hold her and stand near him. So it turned into a family pic because Parker wasn't a fan of Santa either. Clifton and I were not planning on being in the pic but this is one I will cherish forever.
