Poteet Strawberry Festival 2016

We took the kids to the Poteet Strawberry Festival a few weeks ago.  We went to the parade on Saturday morning and then to a concert and the carnival on Sunday afternoon.  The kids had so much fun!  It was my first time to ever go to the grounds and it was what I expected lol.  Way overpriced and crowded but the kids said it was the best carnival ever!

An Artrageous Morning With Molly

A new art place opened here in Pleasanton and Molly and I went to a toddler painting class.  Molly had a lot of fun listening to the story time and working on her art project.  It was some good quality one on one time with Molly.  The sweet lady that teaches the class and owns the place was my art teacher in high school :)

 After school we decided to get snowcones :)  The kids beg me to go everyday.

Layton's Field Day - 1st Grade

Layton had field day a few weeks ago at his school and in 1st grade they do everything as a class.  It was surprisingly a really chilly day and was very windy.  All the kids had fun and I think Layton's favorite was Tug Of War of course.  He has had a wonderful year and we are so thankful he had a great teacher this year too.

Sunday afternoon Hike

We have been going to the early service at church on Sunday mornings since they added it a few weeks ago which has been so nice.  It gives us more time to spend as a family on Sunday and the kids are usually up early anyways.  We decided to take the kids to the Medina Natural Area a few weeks ago after lunch for a little hike.  I've been wanting to check it out for awhile because I heard it was really nice and it was a lot of fun.  The kids didn't last long walking because we didn't bring the jogging stroller but it was such a beautiful Sunday and was fun to do something active as a family.  Can't wait to go back.

Disney on Ice

We took the kids to Disney on Ice a few weekends ago in San Antonio and had a great night as a family.  The costumes were so pretty and the music was great.  We all enjoyed it!

 All three of them crashed out on the way home.  It had been a really long week lol.
