Vacation Bible School 2016

 

Molly always has her babies close by now.  They go everywhere with us :)

 Layton attended VBS at the Baptist church and our church this summer and they just happened to fall on the same week.  We were busy that week but had a lot of fun.  I was in charge of crafts at ours and it was in the evenings so I had time during the day to get things ready and set up.  We had a great turnout and I had plenty of volunteers to help which was such a blessing.  It is always a fun way to serve in our church and share the love of Christ with our local community. 

Not sure what kind of face Parker is making lol.  We were waiting for the program to start at VBS at our church.  All the kids got up and sang for the parents and we had dinner and the kids got to jump on the bounce houses.

A Fun Day at Medina Lake

We headed to Medina Lake with Daniel and Lauren and all the kids the day after Schlitterbahn.   We swam all afternoon and let the kids literally wear themselves out riding the tube.  I wish they lived closer and could go with us more often.  We had such a fun day on the lake!!!

Celebrating Layton and Cooper's B-days

 We celebrated the boys b-day with Daniel and Lauren and all the kids.  We had a little party at the house for the boys and the kids had fun hitting the pinata.

 The next day we headed to Schlitterbahn with just the boys and hired a babysitter to watch all the littles.  We had so much fun and the boys loved it!!!

Layton Turns 7

 Layton turned 7 June 16th he is growing up to be such a sweet boy.  He loves all things legos right now and anything he can build something with.  He spends his days singing and learning to play the guitar too.  He also loves to ride his bike and play outside.  I can't believe how fast the years are flying by.

 We swam that afternoon and got snow cones for the birthday boy.

 We celebrated the night of his birthday at Texas Roadhouse.  Layton loves steak so that is what he requested for dinner.

Beach Trip to Rockport with Nana and Papa

We went on our annual Rockport beach trip in June with Nana and Papa while Clifton was fishing in Louisiana.  We had a wonderful time as always!!!

 We discovered the splash pad/pool in Aransas Pass one evening and had a blast there!

 Late night ice cream at DQ in our pajamas is a must at the beach.

 We had snow cones one afternoon at the beach.

 The kids took really long naps every afternoon after playing at the beach all day.

 We got to have dinner at one of our favorites Paradise Keys.

 These two decided they wanted to swim at the RV park on the second day so Layton and I went to the beach by ourselves.

 Molly shared the "big bed" in the RV with me every night and we had fun coloring before bed time.  This sweet girl loves to color just like her mama.
