A rough week for Layton

This past week Layton has been really sick. After two trips to the doctor we finally got an antibiotic because he had a sinus infection. He ran fever for four days straight. Poor baby has not been acting like himself at all lately so we have been giving lots of extra hugs, lots of rocking, reading books over and over and extra comforting. We were up all night with him Tuesday night and Clifton and I were really worried about him as his fever got up to 105.2. Thankfully the motrin helped it come down quickly and Layton seemed to handle it okay. He was asking for water and crackers in the middle of the night so he sat in our bed and ate crackers and drank water while we watched Thomas the Train at 4:00 a.m. This past week was crazy with Clifton and I trying to manage our work schedules the best we could while taking care of a sick baby. Thankfully the medicine is working and Layton is doing much better this weekend. I'm just ready for the runny nose to go away for awhile.
