I took a half day off of work last Monday so we could take Layton to Seaworld. We were a little worried about the weather because it was supposed to rain all day long but thankfully it cleared up and turned out perfect for us. There was no one there which meant no lines for any of the rides which Layton loved. He got to ride all of the little rides as many times as he wanted and we saw Shamu and got another visit in with Santa. I'm so glad Clifton was able to get away from work for the afternoon to go with us. We made some great memories with my family too. Needless to say we did what Layton wanted to do and he loved all the attention from everyone. I think we all enjoyed ourselves too. Here are a bunch of pictures from our fun afternoon/evening at Seaworld.
Layton was finally tall enough to ride the Shamu roller coaster and he loved it! I think he rode it 6 times at least. He is in the third car below with Aunt Amanda.
I love his face in this one!
Sitting with his Nana.
Watching the Sesame Street show.
Getting ready for the 3d Polar Express show to start.
It was a beautiful night at Seaworld.
Being silly in the stroller.
The lights were so beautiful there.
Another visit with Santa to make sure he knows that he wants a "Tonka truck and an airplane."
This tall character was interesting but didn't seem to scare Layton he loved him.
I thought it was a good idea to buy him the light up sword before the Shamu show. He hit me in the head at least a dozen times and then managed to hit the people behind us as well. He was not interested in the Shamu show at all. Next time we will get the light up toy after the show :)
I love these two pictures he was having so much fun!
Drinking hot chocolate in the candy cane forest.
Layton with his daddy leaving Seaworld.
Fun times!!! Can't wait to go back next year during Christmas and take Molly with us :)
