Nature Walk and Painting Rocks

Monday I really wanted to do some fun stuff with Layton and Molly.  I feel guilty because I have had to spend so much time focusing on Parker lately.  Thankfully Parker took a good nap in the morning so we went outside on a nature walk before it got too hot.  We found some things that God created to make a collage.  I also had them pick out some rocks to paint.  Both kids enjoyed and it gave us something creative to do together.  Layton and I ended up painting rocks while Molly napped in the afternoon.  He had more fun and enjoyed the one on one time.  I'm really trying to enjoy these last two weeks of summer before Layton starts Pre-K at the end of this month.
