Our Cruise - Part 1

Two weeks ago Clifton and I went on a cruise with Daniel, Lauren, Chad and Kellie for 7 days.  We left out of Galveston and went to Roatan, Honduras, Belize City, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico.  We had so much fun!!!  It was so relaxing and just what Clifton and I needed.  We got up early Sunday morning and drove to Galveston and made our way to the ship very easily.  As soon as we got on the boat we ate lunch and walked around the ship trying to figure out where everything was.  The first two days we were at sea which was nice to just hang out on the ship.  We laid by the pool a lot those first two days and listened to the Caribbean band play.  Every night we had dinner in the dining room at 8 and the food was amazing!  We especially liked our assistant waiter, she was so nice and friendly.  Here are some pictures of the first two days on the ship.

Here we are boarding the ship:

 Checking out the promenade

First night on the ship headed to dinner:
Hanging out by the pool on our first day at sea

Second night on the ship (formal night) at dinner:

We had a really good country band on our ship The Micky Utley Band and we went and heard them play almost every night we were on the ship.  They played a lot of good dancing music.
We all danced a lot and it was so much fun!
After the band stopped playing that night we decided we wanted to dance some more so we headed to the Vault which was the night club on the ship.  This was Monday night and we all decided we could stay up late that night because the next day was another day at sea so we could all sleep in.  We had so much fun that night.
I think we were the last ones up that night on the ship we decided to go eat pizza at 2 in the morning.  They had pizza in the promenade 24 hours a day.
Second day at sea hanging out by the pool
Clifton was in the room napping while we laid out by the pool that afternoon.

Somehow we got roped into the "Miss Biceps" contest at the pool that day
 Kellie won of course

Hanging out at the very front of the ship.

Dinner at our second day at sea.
Listening to more of the Mickey Utley band play that night.
To be continued. . . . .
