Fun Friday at Kiddie Park

On Friday morning I met Juli with the kids at Kiddie Park.  Layton was so excited because we had never been there and I had a groupon that I needed to use before it expired.  The weather was nice and the park was actually really nice.  Layton is the perfect age for it and had so much fun.  We had wrist bands for Layton and Tanner so they could ride the rides an unlimited number of times and there were no lines so they would just stay on them and ride them over and over.  After the Kiddie Park we headed to lunch at the Quarry.  This was my first time in San Antonio with both kids by myself and my first attempt at going to a restaurant with both kids.  It wasn't too bad and I've become really good at eating with one hand while I hold Molly in the other.  Thankfully Layton was on his best behavior and sat at the table and ate.  I had a bunch of errands to run after lunch but I wasn't sure how much we would get done.  Surprisingly we didn't get home until almost 6 Friday night.  Layton was so good and Molly slept and hung out in the stroller it was just exhausting getting both kids in and out of the car a bunch.  Poor Layton finally crashed on the way home because he never got a nap.  I survived and now I feel like I can take them places by myself.  I had the kids in coordinating outfits so I took some pictures of them before we left that morning.

Layton trying to get Molly to smile.
This is one just makes me laugh I took about 10 but thankfully the first one turned out good.

I asked Layton to lay next to Molly on the bed and this is what he did.  He was over the pictures I guess.

They both loved the carousel!

Laura's Houston Baby Shower

Last weekend my mom and Molly and I went to Houston for Laura's baby shower.  Molly was a great little traveler and slept most of the way there and back.  Carter and Laura are expecting a little girl in June and we are so excited she will be so close in age to Molly.  We had a great visit and really enjoyed catching up with them and Lauren.  The shower was beautiful and Laura got so many nice things for the baby.  The weather was so nice all weekend even a little chilly in the mornings.  Here are just a few pictures I have from the shower.  I was holding Molly most of the time so it was hard to take pictures too.  I should have taken some pictures of the nursery it is gorgeous!  Carter and Laura have been working on it and it is really coming together nicely.
