Parker is 2 1/2

In January we took Parker for his 2 1/2 year checkup and his stats are:

34.5 lbs. 90th percentile
38.2 inches 92nd percentile

Parker is full of life and personality.  He goes non-stop all day long and is my toughest kid out of the bunch.  He kind of has to be to keep up with Layton and Molly.  He is always falling and getting hurt but he hardly ever cries.    He thinks he is hilarious all the time and if anyone laughs at him he loves the attention.  He is enjoying Mother's Day Out twice a week with Molly and can manage on school days without a nap now.  He loves to play with Molly while Layton is at school and then will play with Layton in the evenings so they can do boy stuff after school.  He loves to color or paint with Molly.  His favorite books right now are Little Blue Truck Christmas and Baby Zoo.  We read these several times a day right now.  The only movie he will sit down and actually watch for more than 5 minutes is Home Alone.  My kids are stuck on this movie still since the Christmas season.  He has been working on potty training the last few weeks and is doing really good I think we are almost finished with that process.  He is still sleeping in his crib and doesn't seem interested in a big boy bed at all.  He constantly tells me that he is my baby :)  Every now and then he will let me rock him before bed time.  He loves to watch nursery rhyme videos on you tube when I let him.  He has been a trooper with all the after school activities for Layton and Molly.  He never complains about having to sit through dance, guitar lessons, baseball practice etc.  He stays home with Daddy on Wednesday nights while the other two go to Awanas and Mommy goes to the gym.  He looks forward to the one on one attention.  He is really good with his balance bike and will be riding a real bike in no time at all.  He prefers to go barefoot all the time and we usually find his shoes out in the yard somewhere because he takes them off as soon as he goes outside.  He loves to splash in the bathtub and make a huge mess and laugh about it.  I can't wait to see how God will use Parker and all of his gifts someday.  God knew our family needed this crazy kid because he makes life so much fun :)

Parkerman,

You are a blast to hang out with these days.  You are so easy going and happy all the time.  You love to play outside and would be out there all day if I let you.  You do not like to clean up toys you would much rather throw them lol.  You have taught me so much about parenting and I love that you enjoy all the little things in life.  You are so easy to please.  You don't really care about certain toys just as long as you have a playmate.  You are smart, creative and have a wonderful imagination.  I know you are going to do great things.  I love you to the moon and back!

Love,
Mommy
