Happy Friday

Parker sitting at the table like a big kid eating off of a plate.  I just didn't have the energy to clean the high chair again so I sat at the little table with Parker and Molly to supervise.  Parker is sneaky and if Molly leaves any food behind on the table he helps himself.   

Molly helped me vacuum this morning :) 

Happy Friday Friends!!!  We survived the first week of school.

Layton's First Day of Kindergarten

Layton had a great first day of school and didn't say a whole lot on the way home.  He said it was fun and he wanted to go back so I guess it went well.  Drop off went smoothly and I held it together.  I went to a wonderful prayer time with a bunch of other Mommy's at a friends house right after drop off so it was the perfect way to start off the school year.  The only bad part is having to wake up Parker and Molly every afternoon from their naps so we can go wait in line to pick up Layton.  Hopefully we can all adjust to our new schedule soon.

Fun Weekend in Houston

About 2 weeks ago we had a fun weekend visiting Amanda and Jerrod and also getting to see Carter, Laura and Charlotte.  We took the kids to the Children's Museum and the park near Amanda's house, had a nice dinner out, Amanda and I got mani/pedis, stayed up way too late talking both nights, played at their new place with the kids and Amanda and I got to go to Athleta and do a little shopping before we headed home on Sunday :)  We had a wonderful weekend and I'm so glad we made the time to go visit them.  It was so nice to catch up with them in person and talk to my sister for hours.  Love you Amanda!!!  Thanks for the fun weekend can't wait to come back.
