Family day Sunday

Sunday after a short nap for Layton and I we headed to Corky and Leigh Ann's for lunch. Rachel and Carter were there with their new baby Mina. It was nice getting to visit with everyone and finally meet little Mina. Layton enjoyed playing with Mason and all the attention from Rachel's kids.
Layton wasn't too sure about baby MinaMason playingAfter a few hours we decided to pack up and head to San Antonio so we could get Layton some new shoes and Clifton some new clothes. Layton was so funny in the shoe store he kept walking around saying "shoos" and pointing at all of them. Once we put his new ones on he walked towards the door and started waving bye bye. He was so proud of them and kept saying shoes over and over again. Layton was a trooper so we were able to get some other shopping in before heading home Sunday night.

Layton in his new shoes at Stride Rite:Once we got home Clifton mowed the yard and I pushed Layton in his swing outside. Layton also got to go for a little ride with daddy on the "tactor" as Layton calls the lawnmower. I've never seen him so excited about something he was squealing with delight once he was on it with daddy. It was a nice day we got to spend together as a family.
