Layton's First Car

Grandma Hill bought Layton his first car for his big birthday coming up next week. She decided to go ahead and give it to him a little early because she wasn't sure if she would be at the party or not. Layton loves this car or "tactor" as he calls it. We can push him around the house in it or he can use his feet to go himself. His favorite thing to do is get in and out of it though. I bet he did it at least hundred times this afternoon. He can get in it all by himself and then he closes the door and starts waving and says "bye bye" real loud. He knows exactly how it is done. I'm sure he will enjoy playing with this for several years. Thanks Grandma Hill!



We are working on getting rid of all the bottles and only giving him a sippy cup with whole milk in it this week. Layton is doing really well drinking whole milk out of his sippy cup. Here is a picture from this afternoon of him drinking his milk with his snack watching some cartoons after his nap. He is turning into such a little boy. I try not to think about it too much or I get sad that our baby is almost one. It is so much fun watching him learn and say new things everyday. His new words he learned this week are boat and towel. He is really repeating everything we say these days.
