Layton's Fire Safety Day at School

 

Last Thursday Layton had a little fire safety demonstration at his school and since he normally doesn't go to school that day I took him up there so he wouldn't miss it.  I have never seen him sit so still and quiet.  He was fascinated with all the tools, gear, the firemen and of course the fire truck.  Here are a few pictures from Thursday morning.

 Molly was good that morning and slept through the whole thing.  Here we are at Nana's house later that day.  Poor thing has baby acne right now all over her face.

 This picture makes me laugh he fell asleep with his socks on his hands.  He was pretending he was a fireman before he fell asleep and those were his gloves.  He took a 3 1/2 hour nap that day so I guess he was tired from all the excitement.
