This year I decided to do something special for Layton since it his last Christmas where it will be just the three of us and I bought 25
used children's Christmas books on ebay. I've seen this idea floating
around the past few years and thought he would really enjoy it. I
wrapped each one of them and every night starting December 1st he has
gotten to open a Christmas book. It has been nice reading some new
books every night I was getting tired of all the tractor, truck and
construction books we are constantly reading to him :) I got a good combination of the classic stories and also several about Jesus being born in the manger. He gets so excited every night when it is time to open a present.
